2020 Wrap Up

Well folx, that's a wrap. Year 9 of ARR is in the books. It has been a strange and challenging year for everyone. We missed the first half of our cleanup season due to COVID, but we more than made up for it in the fall with multiple cleanups each month, capped off with a terrific effort at Harrison Park. CBC featured our work in a story that you can find here: https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1824956995560

In April we will celebrate the opening of our 10th year by participating in the annual Thames River Cleanup (date TBD). Stay tuned for updates and bulletins, and most importantly, have a wonderful holiday season.

Stay safe and take care of yourselves.

See you at the river!

See you there!

October Cleanup Thanks!

Thanks to those who came out to help with our October cleanup and a great thanks to. While Covid may have restricted the number of people who can join in the effort, it hasn't dampened the spirit to get out there and clean the place up!

Furthermore, it is always rewarding to see the site cleaner after our efforts.

Thanks again!

Please watch this space and our Facebook page for information regarding future cleanups.

October Cleanup - Ivey Park

Our next clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, October 24th, 9:30 am to noon at Ivey Park.

We'll meet in Ivey Park by the flagpole at the forks and will clean up areas along the bike paths and near the river.

We'll provide garbage bags and gloves (we also have a few garbage grabbers). Apart from weather appropriate clothing we recommend you wear long pants, sturdy boots or hiking shoes and bring a bottle of drinking water.

Families are welcome, however parents must be responsible for their children at all times.

And finally, because of COVID restrictions, we are keeping the cleanup to under 25 people. If you would like to join us, please RSVP to goodaywalter@gmail.com to reserve a spot.

See you at the river!
