Antler River Rally

AddThis

Antler River Rally is a volunteer group that organises monthly clean-ups of the Thames River within the city of London, Ontario, Canada.

We welcome new volunteers. We'll provide garbage bags and gloves (we also have a few garbage grabbers).

The cleanups go ahead regardless of the weather. Therefore, we suggest you wear weather appropriate clothing, sturdy boots or hiking shoes. Also, bring yourself a bottle of drinking water.

Families are welcome, however parents must be responsible for their children at all times.

November Cleanup and Info Session at Richard B. Harrison Park

Our next cleanup will be on November 25th, 9:30 am to noon at Richard B. Harrison ParkWe will meet at the end of South Street (where it intersects with the bike path).

To celebrate the end of our 12th season, we will have coffee and snacks on hand.

Also, staff from the Upper Thames Conservation Authority will be on hand to show us some of the aquatic species (fish, fresh-water mussels, and insects) that live in the river. This will be an informal information session; aquatic biologist Erin Carroll will chat with volunteers about the diversity of river species that our clean-up efforts help to protect.

See you at the river!

Cleanup Gibbons Park, Sunday October 1st
